Waterweek wins prestigious Nick Reeves Award for Arts and the Environment, for innovative water-based project​​
Clare and Charlotte have just won a prestigious environmental arts award for Waterweek.
 
The enthusiasm and energy they bring to the Catchment Partnership is always very welcome and for those who have been to a Waterweek event will know how inspiring they can be.

Dave Pritchard, chair of the judges, said: “Waterweek is a great example of how sustained interweavings of technical knowledge, imagination and arts-led social engagement can empower communities to live in a richer, deeply principled relationship with their water environment”.

Clare and Charlotte felt this award belongs to the whole waterweek community of which the Cuckmere and Pevensey Catchment Partnership are a big part so thank you and congratulations to you all.

We can't wait to be a part of WATERWEEK 2019 to celebrate one of the most vital resources on Earth; Water. Everyone is welcome so come along to as many of the events as you can, we look forward to seeing you there!

Water Week 2019

​ The opening for Waterweek2019vitalwater exhibition at Gallery North, Hailsham is happening on Sunday 3rd March.

There will also be another opening event at the gallery for the actual Waterweek on the evening of 22nd March, you will be able to find details for that and other Waterweek events on our links which are in progress and will be updated as events evolve.
